Concrete Driveways FAQs
How long does a new concrete driveway take?+
Most residential driveways take one to three days on site, depending on size and whether we're removing an old slab. Stay off it on foot for about 24 hours and keep vehicles off for roughly seven days while it cures.
Should I repair or replace my driveway?+
Isolated cracks or surface wear can often be repaired or resurfaced. Widespread cracking, sinking sections or a failed base call for a tear-out and re-pour. We'll tell you which one yours needs.
How thick should a concrete driveway be?+
For standard passenger vehicles we typically pour four inches over a compacted base, and go thicker where heavier trucks park. Base prep matters as much as thickness.
Do you offer free estimates in Springfield?+
Yes. Every estimate is free and in writing. For many projects we can scope it from satellite imagery and confirm the details on a short visit.
What areas around Springfield do you serve?+
Springfield and nearby communities, including Chatham, Sherman, Rochester, Riverton, Jacksonville, Taylorville and Petersburg.
